Join me for a Year of Cozy in 2026

Every year since starting my first business in 2017, I’ve chosen a Word of the Year as my guiding focus as I set and worked toward my goals. But a few years ago, while taking a much needed break from my business to recover from burnout, I decided to approach my Word of the Year differently, and it changed everything.

For the first time in my life, I wasn’t trying to grow or scale or effort my way through anything that year. All I wanted was a year of being present in my life. Of being connected to my people. Of slow, sometimes restful, sometimes playful, pressure-free time to enjoy just being

And after thinking long and hard about it, Cozy embodied what I was aiming for perfectly. After a year of prioritizing Cozy, my life looked wildly different in the best possible way.

Hi! I’m Elli, co-founder of Supported CEO, and your Cozy Guide for 2026.

Having a cozy year doesn’t mean sitting under a blanket and drinking tea all year. (Although, cozy blankets and your warm beverage of choice are highly recommended.)

It takes effort to create more coziness in your life. It doesn’t happen overnight, but it’s 100% worth it.

When I first chose Cozy as my word of the year, my life felt chaotic. I was always rushing, always behind, always thinking about the next thing. And even when I finally did sit down, I couldn’t relax — my brain was still cycling through a thousand unfinished tasks. And my cluttered, not-really-decorated house didn’t help either.

I started small, making shifts that allowed space for more cozy down time in my life.

And slowly… It worked.

By the middle of the year, I realized I had finally created enough space for coziness in my life, that I actually got to start enjoying it.

And I learned how to actually enjoy my downtime in a way that helps me recharge and be present, no matter how chaotic life gets.

My first Year of Cozy changed everything for me. It became a foundation that helps me recharge, stay connected, and move through the world with more ease and presence, even when the world around me is both literally and figuratively on fire.

I think coziness might be the foundation we all need to keep moving forward without losing our minds – regardless of what’s happening in our lives, our work, or the world.

I'm choosing Cozy again for my Word of the Year for 2026.

And I’m inviting you to join me! If you want a year that feels calmer, more grounded, more present, and more cozy, join me for a Cozy 2026!

By joining the Cozy List, you’ll get:

A year of cozy doesn’t happen by accident — but it also doesn’t have to be complicated.

Let’s make 2026 your coziest year yet!

If I had to sum it up in a few words, I’d probably say this is for women who want to avoid burnout. Or some variation of that. But really, it’s for people, primarily women, who are carrying full plates, and want to invite more joy into their lives.

In addition to this Cozy project, I’m the co-founder of Supported CEO, where we support business owners and creative visionaries in building a life that holds space for both their wildest ambitions and their whole human selves. We do this through our CEO Journal Club membership, and Built for Both group coaching program.

If you’re a business owner or creative working toward an ambitious goal, we have more resources for you that my co-founder Ginny and I will share after you sign up for the cozy list.

If you’re not interested in hearing about our resources for business owners and creatives, you can still join the Cozy list and opt out of any business related content.
